The game is extremely addictive. It’s got a number of different game modes which players can choose to play anytime.
CSGO is basically the fourth game of the Counter-Strike franchise. You might think it’s just another typically boring and ordinary online first-person shooter, but you’re off beam. Hidden Path Entertainment, together with Valve Corporation, made sure to give players classic content with superior gaming experience. New characters, weapons, and game modes are only a few things at hand. Different maps have also developed to keep veteran players keyed up and starters challenged. We would go as far as to say that CS:GO has become an underground global phenomenon that has taken the PC world by storm. To measure this, just look at the growth of industries around this game. For example, there are websites dedicated to the buying and selling of CSGO skins.
As a series, CSGO has more or less the same gameplay as other previous games. It is an online objective-based multiplayer first-person shooter. A player joins a team of either the Terrorist or the Counter-Terrorist. The team will move according to the objective, usually to eliminate the opponents’ team. The game ends when one of the teams has completed the objective or has been eliminated. This latest series of the game is featured with permanent death, so when you die, you wait for the next round until you get re-spawned.
At the beginning of each round, players purchase different weapons of their choice with the money they’ve earned from killing enemies and completing objectives. Money can be gained, but can also be taken away when negative actions, such as killing a hostage or a teammate, are done. Moreover, at the end of every round, players receive money. Needless to say, the winning team receives more. This cycle continues in every round, but with every set of objectives and level of difficulty.
Teams are smaller, guns are even more lethal, and rounds are shorter. All these changes made the game better– the best it has ever been, in fact. There’s something so addictive to it that makes a player want to play one more round (and more). Wins are a real victory, and loses are a molded motivation.
This is the most played mode, and is basically what made Counter-Strike famous. Here, players can join 5v5 matches with standard competitive CS rules on a classic map. You can join a match by yourself, with a team, or as a unit.
A full match in Counter-strike can really demand time. Casual mode lets you play the game with a casual match. This mode provides body armor and defusal kits. Here, you can get bonuses and rewards for kills.
This game mode automatically grants players a starting weapon. It lets players take turns in attacking or defending a bombsite on maps.
This mode is basically a gun-progression mode. It features instant re-spawning and immediate weapon loading.
